I wonder if he still needs the Handicapped placard....

I never like to make light of anyones' misfortune, but that was stupid.

I seen the article on Hot Rod. Talking about how guys like this give the hobby a "bad" name.

It's true. Part of it at least. Guy's wrecking **** never looks good. He definitely could have let off the throttle and saved it. But didn't for whatever reason. Good thing it was a camaro. Too many of them around anyways. Just youtube "mustang crash compliation" and you'll come up with several hundred video's of idiot shitstang drivers wrecking their cars. Them I don't feel so bad about. But the name they give to car guys? The impression they give to people and how the reinforce the "guys who like loud and fast cars are stupid" stereotype bugs me. We as a group need to do more to include the average person in our hobbies and events. If they could see these cars the way we see them. Well maybe things would be a little better and easier on us.

You know how dumb the average person is, right? Well, half of them are dumber than that! They even have hobbies. Whether it be video games to guns to cars, they're always the ones who 'ruin it for the rest', and the sad thing is there's no escaping them. Hell, these days we can't even call them dumb... that would be insensitive and unfair, he's just as good as anyone else and deserves a trophy too! /s

That's what's wrong, when people don't appreciate ,or understand..when they buy, or mail order\build a car, from vendors... The experience of setting a valve lash, setting a rear end gear lash\proper pattern , building an engine on your own, beats buying one done... You respect it more ,when you're blood, sweat, frustration & money ,are on the line. The idiot,in the video above... is yet another knock , against intelligent people street\ drag racing..

a perfect example of "there is a time and a place for everything" - that was neither. Thankfully no one was physically hurt... another low performance driver in a high performance car.. dolt.

Someones money went down the drain....... Dont think it was the drivers.

That's what happens when pier pressure nullifies common sense.
Seen it a hundred times along with the phrase "Hold my beer and watch this" :D

That guy could have saved that easily if he knew how to drive at all.

X2.
That WAS a nice car IMHO though..........

Being stupid is not a handicap.... No placard needed....
