I got curious and googled this. Baskin Robbins 31 flavors. Who is Kelly and why is cream misspelled?

Grandson and I at Central Smith creamery last weekend. He chose "Monster Cookie"(copyright on name).
Quick story, my mom told me the time that my Grampa and my mom and sisters(5 or 6 at the time) stopped at the same creamery back in the 50's. Grampa was a farmer and dropped in to get paid for milk he supplied them. Well Grampa and a buddy both came out with barrels of ice cream lol. No $$ but mom and her sisters were happy as hell! Lol

When I was in high school, there was a Baskin Robbins in the mall. A girl in my class worked there, and I'd always make it a point to go get ice cream if she was working when I was at the mall. She'd ask what number ice cream I wanted, cause they had em all listed by number up on the menu. I'd always say #32. They had 31 flavors. Took her a while before she figured it out....lol. All I ever got out of it was a big smile. :)
