I just picked up a car that has a Magnum 360 and was told it is a Mopar crate motor. The engine is in the car so without disassembling the engine is there anything external that would identify as Mopar crate engine? I don't see any stickers/decals on either end of block with part numbers. Any help is appreciated. It does have the mopar M1 single plain manifold.

Identification on used Mopar Crate 360
I am going to look at a slightly used Mopar crate 360 with the single plane M1 intake. From looking at their history I see them listed at 380Hp and 390HP. Was their any difference or just a revised rating? The bigger question, is their an ID on the motor to positively identify which version...

Someone is advertising a new Mopar crate 360. Has the black aluminum Magnum covers. "In the crate." Has a partial photo of the MP literature, and what would I pay?

What intake does it got ?
M1 single or dual plane ?
Does it sound like it's got a healthy cam ?
All the crate engines are stock magnum long blocks, the 300 hp also has stock cam with a dual plane and 380 hp has a cam and single plane other than that there just magnum engines.
But being a crate probably fairly low mileage unless the owner drove it a ton.
