Idler Arm Question

I recently purchased this idler arm and it came with these foam spacers, two thin one thick and two washers. The old one had neither and a traditional boot. It is a Raybestos arm. Any ideas?

Hello, you don't say what car you bought it for but I have the same one, and it's not right. I suggest you scroll down to "cant get an idler arm", lots of good info there.
For the record, mine is for a 69 Barracuda, and like I said it's not the right one.

From your pic......Put the thick foam washer on the top w/ a metal washer. Put a thin foam washer on the bottom w/ a metal washer. Bonus....you have an extra to throw over your shoulder.

Agree with 6pk2go, except the second thin foam washer goes over the tapered end between the idler arm and center link.
