Merry Chriatmas Everyone!

Hang a Plymouth hood ornament on the tree and smile

You are hung up on the script on the fender. Get over it. The fender script saying it is a "Barracuda" doesn't mean it is not a "cuda". Despite what the script says, any "Barracuda" is a "cuda". Maybe this is an old-timers point of view since we were there in the beginning and younger men only see the fender script.
From 1970 to 1974 , regarding the VINs
Barracudas began with BH, while
'Cudas began with BS, and
Gran Coupes with BP

I always have had to explain to several people who asked I thought this car was a cuda, why does it say barracuda on the dash?

Shoulda, woulda, Cuda ! I was born, April 1964. The birth month of the Barracuda. Always wanted an early one, but they where either to rusty or out of my price range at the time. So ended up with my 67 Dart.

I was born January 1964 and lucky enough to have 3. A 68 notch, a 72 340 4 speed cuda and a 73 auto cuda, unfortunately I was also dumb enough to trade them off through the years.

At least one dealer thought they were called Cudas pretty early too as evidenced by this photo of a newspaper advertisement.
