Hi guys. Just wanted to let you guys know we WILL be follwing up our first article in CC with a second article using the same bottom end as before.
This time I'll be porting a set of eddy heads, using a roller cam of some type either hyd. roller or solid roller.
It will be pump gas friendly, still somewhat cost effective and after we've tested a few things with carbs we will be running it with EFI. We also plan on trying F&B's 3-2BBL injection setup.
I'm running the 410 one more time this upcoming week to see if the 3/8 pushrods and pushrod oiling had any affect on the engine, plus will be testing the electric water pump, and a 950HP carb in place of the 750DP.
I'll post the results of the test.
Brian

If you need a test mule feel free to ship it out to me for an over the road/ strip evaluation. It would look great in my 68 GTS. I wouldn't even charge you for it.
Man What A Deal!!!!!!!

This is GOOD stuff ! !

I emailed CC "a few" times and last week I got the answer that they (and alot of readers) were interested in a follow up article!!

You are going to run it the Duster and get us a timeslip again, RIGHT??

Looking forward to your results. It guys like you Brian, giving us a heads up on ways to get:read2: better performance for our rides.Thanks.

Excellent. Looks like this will be all very useful information.
Keep us briefed brian.

I'm just finally getting to putting mine together! lol

Brian will it be retro roller or roller block?I was thinking it would be nice to see the retro rollers in a build.

looked at CC photos better I guess it will be retro roller.

I'll probably run Comp's new 1.350 spring, limited travel roller lifters and a nice quick lobe coupled with TD 1.65 rockers.
The goal is as close to 600HP as possible and still be able to drive on the street (and some limited freeway miles) and run pump gas.
I'm looking forward to the 3-2BBL F&B throttle bodies/intake. Hopefully it makes decent power. We will directly compare that to a 4BBL throttle body, and a carb.
Brian

Should try a 1000-1050cfm carb.jmo
850 has a bigger venturi than the 950= a 1 3/4 throttle blade stuck on a 1 3/8 venturi[same as 750]

None the less good deal, I'll be checking that one out 4 sho.

Hopefully we will be trying a 950HP, 1000HP, 1050 dominator, and an RS Demon!
