Inside door lock link

Was wondering if someone could take a picture if it's out of their inside door lock rod, the one that connects the push or pull inside door lock that connects to the latch. I bought a new set for my 67 and the rod I have isn't working, did they change designs to 68-69??

67 and 68 have the knob closer to the middle of the door/window...

69, they moved it back so it jabs you in the elbow when hanging your arm out the window, cruising by chicks....

I figured it out. Lucky I had the old ones still. The hole was to small, have a bigger rod on 67. The plastic clips for the 68-69 rods clips are smaller same location just smaller.
