The dust cover I removed from my 340 had some upper parts of the metal cut away. So I bought a new one. Unless I am looking at something wrong laying under the car, does the passenger side have a hole that looks like it has to go between the bell housing and engine block? If so, it seems like that would throw off the alignment of the bellhousing and the trans.
