I finally got some decent weather here in Maryland, so this weekend i removed the engine from my '73 dart sport to install the new (to me) 340 I picked up just before christmas. The engine in the car was a slightly warmed over hydraulic cam 340 with about 350 hp and the engine I am replacing it with is a more radical solid cammed 340 with over 450 hp(?).
I managed to remove the engine by myself on saturday, and had my neighbor help me set the new engine in place this afternoon. I hope to have it running in a few weeks.
