installing manifolds

Take one nut off the motor mount and jack that side of the engine a bit. Much easier than messing with the master cylinder.

if they are 68 -70 hi flo manifolds you should be able to "fanagle" them in.I've never
had to raise the motor or ...

Well thats interesting,i had to lift the L side to get my 318 manifold on R no problim.

Used the 68-70 340 manifolds when I did Jamie's dart. Raised the driver side of the engine some to get the manifold in. I swear the time headers were easier to install on my dart. 
use the log style, a blind man can put them on and not scratch the paint
weellllll, got the manifolds in !!!!!! Driver-side went in from the TOP!!!
1.removed plugs
2. the steering coupler is a rectangle (make sure the thin side is up/down)
3. slide flange past steering shaft first whola!
