Intake coolant leak

So the head gaskets were leaking. You can see on the corners where the where the water jackets are. I am replacing with thicker gaskets

Are you saying it was leaking here? How deep are those imperfections?

Yes, fortunately that is just staining and some oily coolant. After cleaning, there is no pitting

They look a little ruff for being new. Why are the plugs in, with the heads off?

New thicker head gaskets, careful use of sealant on intake and no leaks! Used the 9898pt gaskets
