Hey guy's I have a buddy that is going to be making me some valve covers and an intake for the Scamp and he's wondering if he should make a jig for them so he can make several sets. What would you guys think if he can do them for a real good price the interest would be for these items? Intake will be low profile to fit under my stock hood But he could make standard height ones as well. Pricing would be way better then the Aluminum ones that are out there today.

I'm all for it, got any design sketches?

Its hard to find them without breather holes on same end when mounted. Or no breather holes so you can cut them in yourself. Also a 1/4 inch welded on reverse gasket flange. I would say for a good quality set $200 -$250. I'm in. The coves pictured on my engine below are junk.

Well he's gonna start with the Hemi covers if they do well he will expand to the whole mopar lineup.

I'm "interested" but it will surely depend on the design. For clarification though, are we talking valve covers or coil / wiring covers. "Intake", are we talking intake manifold or cold air intake?

I am interested in the valve covers, but as said before it will depend on the design. Will they fit with a factory 6.1 intake?

We are talkin valve covers not wiring covers. The intake is going to be a fuel injection style fabricated intake manifold similar to the Wilson's manifold with a throttle body at the front and short runners for forced induction.

Guess my guy already started designing the gasket rail today. I am on edge waiting to see these puppies.

An alternative to the others would be great. I might be interested depending on design and price.

Seriously interested in the intake pictured above. The moroso vc's make me want to puke. Now if they resembled the old school covers to run remote coils I'd be on that with ease.

Bumpski

there is nobody doing valve covers which hides the coil and the 2 Sparkplug wires? To have the modern look hiding.... somehow....

Indy has all you need for it but it don't hide the plug wires. It relocates the coils under the intake or you can mount them on the firewall.
