has ne1 tried the stuff from year one? i'll be doing my seats next week and im thinking about the green dye for the hinge covers and head rests [replaced seats and they were black] and how do the head rests come out? never removed them before is there anything i need to know before i mess something up?

I've never used that dye before. But I just did my whole interior with some other stuff and it turned out GREAT!!!! Seats are really easy to take out. Just make sure that you use some PB Blaster on the nuts and bolts on the seats. They like to get real corroded.

Only dyes I've used were SEM products. Black is not a good base color to change in most cases. Changing black straight to red is nearly impossible. Even going to dark green, dark blue, or brown, its best to apply a neutral base like light beige first.
