Interior Upper Door Frame Trim - Mounting?

Can someone please tell me how these clips go. I'm pretty sure they are used to secure each end of the inner upper door trim piece, between the top of the A-pillar and the inner quarter window trim. I had them in a baggie labeled for this, but its been a long time since I removed them. If these clips are not for that piece of trim, then what are they for and what is used to secure the trim. Thanks.

I don't know what thous clips are for but here are some pic's of the
