Hello, I'm new here and appreciate that there is such a good resource for Mopars. I'm from Alabama, retired military and tinker on old Mopars (and others) as a hobby. I am looking to restore/mildly modify a Satellite for cruising, and wanted to ask - what is the recommended 4-spd automatic/overdrive transmission used to replace the 727? Thanks.

Another fresh 727 with 2.94 rear gears and the light wheels for better performance and mileage. 4 bbl setup helps too.
Same as this '69 Satellite has in it.
