if yes are there ant modifications ? I know in 73 they added bracing in the door for impact protection , is the bracing worth it ? Not that I plan on crashing , just buying spare parts , and the bracing sounded useful if all interior panels will fit from a 1970 .

Thanks

Yup, You need the window seals and the retainer trim. That goes up the C-pillar to the roof and down the A-pillar.

73 door from what?

The interior panel isnt the same, 73 up has the plastic top. Exterior skin is the same.

70-76 will bolt up and "fit" but there are differences from 72 back to 73 up.

Right on with the interior panels jerry6. I just assumed he was going for a door without the wing windows.

Lot of things are different. Interior door release handle position- so you have to use the later interioir panels. IDK if the handle can be moved or not. No vent windows. Not sure, but I was told the window cranks are in a different spot too.
