is there a support brace on a 68 barracuda

Is there a support brace on a 68 barracuda from the frame to the front wheel fender in front of the tire? I don't have one and I am having problems with my tire hitting the front part of the fender. I just saw a brace on a GTX and eureka!..I am thinking maybe I am missing a brace.

yes there was on my 68 it was to keep the rear portion of the fender in front of the tire from vibrating and cracking ...easy enuff to make one yourself and attach it
