what is this , cant find this part in my wire diagram, is it for the speeddometer? and if anybody knows it . is there a diagram for it?

sending unit for the tachometer I do believe.

Yep - sending unit for the tach. Also used in 65 in the Barracuda when equipped with a tach and possibly with the 66/67 Charger.

64-6 with 3 wire tach in dash or on console and all body styles. In 67 they went to the 4 wire and the separate sender was no longer used. A better picture might help with its wiring.

its connected to a yellow/grey and purple wire? if this helps .
