My Barracuda moved under it's own power this morning for the first time since Feb 2011. I'm super psyched about it, so had to post about it! I started out doing a big bolt pattern conversion in Feb 2011 using Viper calipers on 11.75" rotors on the front. It turned into a complete front end rebuild including removing the k member for cleaning & powder coating. Rear brakes are now 10" x 2.5" drums from a Diplomat. I ran into lots of roadblocks along the way, but now it's almost done. Just gotta do a rough alignment, tighten up the control arms & adjust the clutch and then it's off to the alignment shop.

A shout out to Jim Lusk for scoring me the C body axles and rear brakes! Thanks, Jim!

I bet you are so soooo happy, Congratulations lilcuda

Thanks all, for the congrats! Feels good to finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Here's some photos of the boxed lower control arms. Check out the awesome welds my friend did!

Looks great cant wait to see more of the car.

Thanks. I haven't taken any after pictures. I was going to yesterday, but the light wasn't right when I had time to do car stuff yesterday.

A few of the k member after powder coating.

As always.

:worthles:

Finally got a chance to take a photo of it on the ground. I've got to get it up on ramps to torque the lower control arms, then get it to the alignment shop. Still needs the cop car hubcaps installed, too.
