Well, I finally had to take care of the inevitable. Yes, the Duster was put away for the winter. I yanked its battery and put it up on its dollies. By the way, dollies with their nice round trays will help keep your tires from flatspotting when in storage. They also allow you to push the car close to the garage wall to create more space in the garage. We'll probably use the old garage heater a few times this winter to get some of those little projects done (that there never seemed to be enough time for when the weather was nice). Come spring, watch out Detroit we're coming back prettier AND faster.

Somethings (snow) comes alittle quicker to places then others. Look on the bright side...all that extra time to work on those project updates. Hope she's done for spring. Good Luck and keep the band-aids handy. Jim

I have not been driving my Dart during the summer. It is too bad. I just did not have time to get her out from under the cover and drive her. I took her out to one show and then put her under cover. I restored another car last year so I was very busy. The old Dart had a lot of parts on her. She was a parts bin for me! I will probably take her out today and get the rust out of the rotors. Then she will be put on the rollers and pushed over to the side. I have 3 cars that will need to be stored in a 2-car shop. The winters are not very cold here in Oregon but the roads stay wet a lot of the time. Drizzle makes the worst mess on your suspension! I have a new parts car now. I bought a '76 VW Rabbit. My Durango just doen't cut it when it comes to the gas pump. I just leave the Durango parked and "row" the old VW around town getting 30 mpg. I think we all know what the Durango got in town... Can you say BAD!

Took the last cruise A couple weeks ago. Getting ready to put my Duster
away for the year. Living in northern Wisconsin you don't get to much
time to drive. I thought we would have snow by now. We don't so I took it
around the block tonight. Weather still looks good for the weekend so I might
get one more in then. At least we can still bench race till spring.
