yup.....having our second one (atleast I hope there is only one in there lol).

Just found out yesterday and she went to the doctor today and they said 9 weeks along and due the day after my wifes birthday.

Our son is excited.....he and my wife are both saying girl but I am thinking another boy.....we shall see.

I am happy but of course have the jitters because I tend to dwell on all the bad things and I am a huge worry wart.

worry about finances ,our home ,that everything goes smooth and "it" is healthy, getting the duster done, if my boy will feel left out because he has spent almost 5 years as an only child.

anyhow, we just told family today and I figured I would tell all my fabo friends too!:toothy7:
 
This is awesome news. Your son is at a great age to welcome a sibling, old enough to understand. I bet he will gladly step into the important job of being a big brother.

And I agree and say X2 on what goldfish65 said=D> He will be a lot of help and an extra set of eye's and make him feel like a big boy real quick :cheers:

and yeah I think he will be a great little helper....however...last night I said to him "so are you going to help change diapers and pick up the house and are you going to keep quite so the baby can sleep, and you might not get as many toys for your self as you do now" and he says " uhhhhhhh, I changed my mind.....I don't want a brother or sister any more" LOL

Thanks Mike....I am hoping for another "dude" but would be fine with a "dudette" also lol....and it would make my wife happy because she wants someone to do "girly stuff" with.

Treva wanted a girl to (we had two boys)but she had to wait and get two granddaughters instead :love4:
 
Congratulations! As the father of a now 13 year old girl I can honestly say that little Daddy's girls are a blessing from God!!! I wouldn't have it any other way. My little (now getting big) daughter is the love of my life.
 
Congrats. I sometimes wonder what would have happened if I had more than one myself. O well the one child I have is irreplaceable.
 
Congratulations DadDude! Don't worry about worrying about that stuff.. it's what we do.

As far as a girl, mine is 10 now, and although she is more a girly girl, she enjoys going out to shows and cruises with me. In fact, last night I told her of our Canada Day Mopar show tomorrow, and mentioned that I was going to help out, and maybe there would be something she could do. She said "I'd be honored if I was allowed to help". That brought a tear to my eye.

Congrats, better start saving now they say @ 300k to raise one nowadays, glad my last ones 17, we are almost done. Enjoy just the same really dosen't matter how much they cost, mine are priceless to me and i'm sure yours are to you also. Enjoy this time in your life.
 
We went in for the ultrasound yesterday.

And..................................

It's a GIRL!

so now we will have one of each.

We kind of wanted another boy because they are "easier" when it comes to some things....and because our entire family is pretty much dominated by girls already lol.

but I said from the beginning rather it be a girl or a boy...as long as he or she was healthy thats all that matters.

plus, now she will have a big brother to look after her and keep the boys in check lol and my son wont have to worry about sharing all of his boys toys with a brother.

I just wanted to let you guys know.
