SO...... i know this isnt an A-body BUT i figured maybe some of you would like to check out my project truck. its a 92 dakota 5.9 mag motor, air ride 4linked rear with a 8 3/4 with a 489 center... the interior is based on late 60's a-bodies i have an 68 dart steering wheel, 68 barracuda center council and thought about doing a full dash transplant let me know what you guys think thanks.....

just picked up the rear end earlier this week 8 3/4 a-bodie chrysler with a 5x 4.5 bolt pattern the front lug conversion is just the gen 1 dak brake set up
 
everything has been pulled back off the frame and is now undergoing the knife again lol... 3" stock floor body drop is in the works ill have more pics to come later this week
 
i got a little bit done last night, nothing has been centered or squared up yet but was trying to get an overall look for what i was dealing with

Wow!!! That is way too cool!! I've thought about doing the same to a dak and doing a custom front grille and turn signals and headlights. No offense, but the slit beam style headlights suck for visibility, unless you go HID. I really like your build and you are doing excellent work, I am definately gonna view this thread any time it updates now 8)
 
Looking to swap the bench seat in our 93 Dak to a nice set of buckets. Those leather 300 look great! Got any additional info on your seat swap?

I am interested in details too, I am putting together a 1988 dakota short wheel base 4x4 with a v8 727 and a transfercase to match. should work good when its done. won't be as nice as this one though!
 
thanks for the compliments guys. the seats i am still having an issue with, they are full power with heat so the wiring is a pian in the *** but the mounting should be fairly easy with a few minor adjustments (with hammer and grinder) to the original tabs on the seats
 
got the links on the rear welded up and took it to work and blasted it today brought it home and got some paint on the rear.... ill get some pics up soon
