Hearing aids that is. Went to Costco last week took their free hearing test. I was impressed. Took about an hour and a half. They fitted me with sample aids and had me walk around the store . I was amazed at the sounds I hadn't heard in a long time but I had to give them back. Got my very own today. It took about 20 minutes to program them in. I have to go back in three weeks to have them adjusted. I am very happy so far. I got the Kirkland Signature 5.0. I would recommend anyone that is struggling with hearing try Costco . The staff is very professional and all adjustments are free cleanings etc. Now I'm going out and start up the Dart.

Lol, glad to hear you've got aids!

My father in law really needs to consider getting himself a pair as well. Good to hear that you had a good experience at Costco. Can you tell me how much they set you back?

huh? wait, let me get closer to my monitor.. oh there, that's better!

you best tell your companion. she may want to HEAR what you are say'n

Can you hear me now ? Cost was $1889 for the set and that was Costco Kirkland top brand Signature 5.0.. They also carry several leading brands and cheaper sets also. Mine were half the price of going down town to a audiologest. Second dayand doing very well. Price is right concidering most insurances won't cover hearing aids. Beleave me I had hearing lose for so long I fore got what some of the simplest sounds were. Do they replace God given hearing .... No but they but they sure inprove your quality of living.

LOL life is good, , a deer tripped and the gun wentoff, hope its all right!??? LOL

That's a pretty good deal if they work for ya.

My wife spent $5000 on a pair a few years ago. Don't remember the brand off hand, but they are top of the line, obviously for that price. They are the kind that fit behind your ear and have a small tube that goes into your ear.

Wont be long till I need them. I had a hearing test at an audiologist a few weeks ago.
Have some hearing loss in both ears, but worse in the left. Frequency that I have a hard time hearing is the same as the human voice. Probably why I'm always asking people to repeat themselves...lol

Ya, sick huh. No I want to see how hidden they are. I need some and 1800 sounds good if they don't stick out like a radar dish.

They hide pretty well there the be hind the ear and the small tubes that go in the ear . I went all day and no one notice and believe me I have a couple of buddies at work ,who if they would have noticed would have pelted me with grandpa jokes . I speaker is small enough that your ear and hair hide it. They even have small in the ear but first you have to go. It cost nothing.
