Hey everyone.

Just back from vacation, we go on a cruise every year, this time it was on Norwegian Cruise Line. I dont recomend NCL, it was the worst cruise ever, next yr its back to Princess.

We went to Roaton, Belize, Costa Maya and Key West, out of and back to Miami.

Didnt see any Mopars on the street anywhere, i did see a front end of a B Body van in a yard in Belize though.

I did give my Mopar hat to a little mexican guy in Costa Maya, I had to explain to him what a Mopar was first though, i showed him a pic of my car and he said there was a bunch of them in Cancun.

We rented a new Charger in Miami for 2 days, not a bad car, 3.5 V6, but it had some power to it. Anyone ever realize that it is actually styled after a 69 Coronet and not a Charger? Same rear quarter panel lines and the same hood, head light crease.

Hey! What didn't you like about NCL? I's been over 20 years since I was on a NCL cruise and didn't care for it because they didn't restrict smoking inside the ship, every where you went it stunk, even the cabin but folks tell me it's not like that any more.

All of my other cruises have been either Carnival or Royal Carribean they both seem to be about the same but I kind of like Carnival better, fewer kids.

Year before last we were vacationing on Aruba and one day we headed to the other end of the island to have lunch at Charlie's Bar and I see this bright green glo coming towards me and by the time I realize it's a 71 Sublime Cuda it's gone by and my wife never got the camera out in time. But this mopar was parked infront of a hot rod shop that I stopped at for a tee shirt.

Never been on a cruise and don't know if it's something I would enjoy. I've been to Aruba though and loved it and since I'm done with flying a cruise might be the only way I'll ever get there again.

We go to Aruba every other year with my sister and brother inlaw. My wife wants to go to Curacao this year though, so I have been looking at places to stay there, but the deals on cruises right now are outstanding so I amy talk her into one that stops in Curacao.

Cool Pic, we are going to Aruba next yr on Princess, where was the shop at?

Well DGC, We usually sail Princess, but didnt get the cruise paid off, due to some unforseen life stuff happeneing. So we did a last minute booking with Norwegian, on the Pearl.

They have changed the smoking policy, only smoking is allowed in the casino or on the Promenade deck.

Princess seems to have way better customer service, better food, better service in the dining room, buffet places etc, and better ship activities.

I have never had any complaint about anything on a Princess Cruise, i have never been bored on a Princess cruise, but there was literally nothing to do- you can only lay in the sun for so long- at times on the Pearl. I have never wanted to have a cruise end more quickly that this last cruise and i have never not wanted to eat anything on a Princess cruise, the food on the Pearl was really bad.

Here is a link for a post i wrote on a cruise review site. about the cruise http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1301744

I smuggled alcohol, and got caught, which it seems like from the replies from other people that is the reason i had such a bad attitude about the cruise, but its not, the whole cruise experiance on Norwegian was bad, not the cruise in general, your on a ship, in the water, going to neat and far off lands, whats not to like about that?

You said you cruise 20 yrs ago? Was that on the old Norway? Next yr, we are taking Pricess out of Brooklyn, to San Juan, St. Thomas, St Kitts, Aruba, Antigua, and back to Ft Lauderdale.

The Cruise Ships come into the port at Oranjestad. The terminal is just north west of the center of town on LG Smith Blvd. The shop is called Underground Cycles & Hot Rods and is on LG Smith, I don't think its more than a 1/2 mile from the cruise terminal heading away from down town. They sell a lot of the 50's style Rat Rod tatoo'd pinup girl kind of stuff. They build rods and custom bikes too. There is a drag strip at the other end of the island and you would think you were at a US strip with a mix of muscle cars and sport compacts. Pro Street motorcycles are big there too.

One of my favorite places on Aruba was the Black Hog Saloon. It was an open air bar with a biker theme that had all you can eat barbaque and all you can drink beer for one price of admission. The neat things is they used to have burnt out contests in the bar and motorized bar stool racing. My wife liked it because the locals would ride their Harleys into the bar and take the ladies out for a spin. Last year it was closed, I hope someone will repoen it.

I have never considered Princes Cruises before simply because the always cost more and no one has been able to give me a good reason to pay extra.

The NCL cruise 20 years ago was on the Majesty out of Boston to Bermuda. The following year they cut the ship in 1/2 and added a 150' section and I believe they just retired it a couple of years ago. That cruise has always been a popular one for folks living in the Boston area.

Gee last year when I was in Aruba the resort just told me it was closed, not that it burnt.

You will just have to go here.
