Just getting started

Hi Folks! I am Dennis Weatherly and I'm here to start a journey with my daughter to build her a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger. We have a fairly complete rolling chassis and she wants to learn how to work on cars. The Plan is a full rebuild (not restoration) on this Dart together. We want to build a nice daily driver that is reliable for her, 318/340 motor (most likely, not set in stone), and manual transmission (her request, likely a four speed). The rest is just dreams and ideas as we learn about this together.

I have done much of the maintenance on my cars for years and we have a pretty well equipped shop. I'm comfortable with a lot of wrenching tasks. Bodywork and welding are new to me but learning is part of the fun
