Well Id like to say for those who didnt make it you missed one helluva show (500 + race cars).
The Quick 16 bracket was unreal this year, If you couldnt run a 7.22 E.T. you might as well have loaded up and went home :thumleft: .
Got a few pics of some of the cars but didnt get what I wanted to, was caught up in the moment i guess lol.
1 very nice 68 Dart GT 383 left the line kinda hard on Saturday and decided it wanted to meet the wall :cry: , Not a great deal of damage but thats beside the point. Driver was fine just a little hacked off.
Had a nice HEMI powered Viper GTS run on Sunday, Bad news is it blew up on the big end. And yes it's the same Viper we all seen in one of the Mopar rags recently. Also a Blown V-10 viper was on hand too, No passes out of it tho :cry: .
Bob Regal was here with the 65 "Hemi Underglass" and this will be his last year, He will now retire.
All in all a great show, Maybe next year some of you guys can make in and see the Mid Wests best show other then the NATS.
I will post a few pics tomorrow when i have more time, But for now boys and girls..........My feet , back , legs hurt, Im sunburnt and have rubber dust, and NITRO METHANE on me and need to shower
