just gotta ***** about it

Yep I use the "todays post" myself. To see all those for sale ads really sucks. One post with all the listings would have been better in my opinion.

With that said at least it's from a real member and not some first timer. Nothing really against the rules that I can tell. It just seems a little inconsiderate to blast the forum like that with that many for sale items at once. :banghead:

How about limiting yourself to about 1/2 dozen items at once?? If 3 people (and thats how many posted dozens of items) would limit themselves to about 6 items, the whole site would be easier to read!!

The way to solve the problem is this... lets everybody buy every single item they have listed!! They'll be so in the weeds packing, weighing, quoting, messaging and shipping the dozens of items they have listed, that they'll learn what I did long ago... that it's a JOB doing the after sale stuff and it gets overwhelming fast!! Thats why i only list a few items at a time, and I never bump my stuff!!

I used to list 6 items a week on ebay, all on Sunday night, but that means 6 items going on and 6 items going off every week. Try juggling 12 items at a time, let alone the dozens listed here by some!!! There, my .02!! geof

it just suprised me when I clicked todays posts. I haven't ever seen that happen on here before. I had just got off of ebay and did search for "1966 dodge dart", clicked on "used" to refine search and see 100+ of adds for a starter, alternator, fan belt and so forth. I said the heck with it and jumped to this site and got it again! sort of irritated me getting it on this site too!

I guess he's allowed to do that, so I'll just go do something else for a couple of hours like some user do and then check back and see it anything good pops up instead of those ad's.
if/when I ever get the chance to sell some stuff I WILL put it all in one post and list it with pic's if possible and bump it weekly until it's sold or I get tired of bumping it(that might happen first)plus I'd have trouble keeping track of more than a few parts and messages anyway!

I think the ad's were all related ,so they could possible have gone into 1 add. they were "brochures" but for different cars. that is about as related as you can get. If I'm searching for a brochure that what I'll type in. it will come up in the search then I'd just have to sort through to the specific car.

have a great one

I don't about most others but I make it a point to only list a few items at a time. It's to much to keep track of.
