just joined, looking for '62 Valiant front fender

hello, thanks for letting me join your A-body forum...i've got 2 '62 Valiants w/ slant six (a 170 v-100 and a 225 v-200) both 4 door, also have a '63 belvedere (b body). Yesterday, someone completely destroyed the driver side front fender in the parking lot of the local grocery store here. Haven't been able to find any fenders for sale anywhere. Anyone have a Driver side '60 - '62 front fender they wanna sell. Didn't have the heart to post the photo of crushed fender, it's the blue one that got smashed btw. Lemme know, thx!

surf back thru' the parts and parts cars for sale forums.Some of those items MAY still be
hangin' around,always worth a shot.I just purchased an eng./trans 170/pushbutton unit from
a guy in OH, had to take it out when I got there,so I wasn't really eyeballin' the fenders.But
it was a'62 valiant,He sounded like he was gettin' rid of it soon after I got my stuff,that was
almost 3 mo. so....... it was on CL mansfield I believe.
Not familiar w/ your area,where roughly are you(closest big city)?Looks nice out there!

thx for the info. i think i'm getting a fender from a guy in Arizona but if that doesn't work out, i'll try and get some more info from you about that other '62. happy thanksgiving!

oh, hell no - half the time it's some clueless dolt that doesn't even know they did it!! :violent1: Three years ago a kid hit my truck while I was in my local convenience store - folded up the drivers side fender -- he waited, apologized and had his insurance info etc. ready to go! I was stunned! This nearly never happens.. he straight up could have bolted and I would have been just another hit and run statistic...

the kid did have insurance, i'm just in a super small town with 1 body shop and i told the guy i'd source a fender. thx for the positive comments guys..i think i've got a fender lined up to be shipped here soon...
