I'm trying to figure out the rest of the combo for my 318 swinger to get it going if anyone wants to help out with some suggestions for the 318 build up (keep in mind it's just strip but street legal so mid 13's is the goal.
-11" Torque Converter (Need identification help!) just need to take the 360 weights off
-Cam = 0.450 lift (approx.) 290 duration? (from allpar article, good for strip bad for street = perfect) Ive heard the stock 340 is a good choice, but I'm willing to be more exotic.
-Fuel Pump = Mechanical or Electric? both in series? Brand?
-Nitrous kit 150hp = delivery? Brand?

so far

-Headers 1.625" 5116HKR Super Comp (I know hookers will hit, working on it tho, cut and weld, can't afford dougs or tti's till I finish the 360!)
-LD4B
-Carter AFB Competition 650cfm
-904 w/ trans go
-8 3/4 sure grip 3.55 rear
-stripped to about 2800 lbs with driver
Wheels are stock 14" but probably go to 15's
:help: :iconbigg:

more weight reduction, slicks, 4.1 gears and high stall along with headers are in the future along with the 360, on a budget and just want to get going with the 318 for now.

Mechanical fuel pump is a whole lot cheaper and easier. I run the Carter street/strip on mine and its plenty. I don't know that I'd spray more than a 100 shot with it though.

I had planned to put the Zex kit on mine (works well with a dual plane intake), but its $$$.

for nitrous look up nitrousoutlet.com they have nice stuff and its alot cheaper than the big name stuff. i will not buy my nitrous parts any other place.

Unfortunatly they are in the US and by the time I pay the duty, shipping, exchange not really a great deal anymore. Picked up a 10lb bottle (NOS) full off CL for $100 so that's a good, fabricated a bracket, just need some brake line, solenoids, switches and a plate should come in under $400 total.
Just going to add a small Mr. gasket electric fuel pump before the fuel Solenoid.
Down to just Cam, Comp still hasn't gotten back to me after a week but it was the weekend so probably tomorrow.

And I really need to figure what Torque Converter this is. It's for a 360, it's off a 904, stamped 123C, HS3, 35103.
