What part of the UK? I spent 3 years at RAF Greenham Common in the late 80's. Had to steer clear of the women protestors!!!

That's cool. I lived in Compton Bassett in Wiltshire, near Calne. It was old RAF housing they opened up for us Yanks at Greenham. It was really nice housing.

Started life as Blue, Vin says 340 Special, but not sure on that. This is how I got it, havent done anything yet but washed it to get that mud off (seller lived on a farm). In these pics it may look Red but it is actually Hemi Orange. It now has a 360 (need to check engine number etc) which has had some performance upgrades, Posi rear end and you can just see the bars under. Reverse Valve body and STS shifter. Snorkel and Spoiler were retrofitted. No power steering etc. It needs work, so it'll take some time
