k-frames???

hi all i like the site i have been fixing up a 72 scamp i started earlier this year i am going to minni tub it and am going to use frame conectors and torque boxes in the corners i have a 400 for it does anyone have an opinion on using safty caps on the front frame members to give it more strength and also has anyone used an altekation front end instead of the factory setup i am leaning towards all these things and am looking for opinions and experiences thanx in advance for anyone that replys

I capped my frame rails using pieces from Auto Rust Technicians and was very happy with the materials, the fit, and the results. The pieces are beefy. I did the front frame rails, the torsion bar mounts and the rear frame rails.

thanx what do you think about moisture getting between the frame and the cap?

I would only be concerned about excessive moisture & salt "getting between" if I was winter driving the car. A weekend summer playtoy should be no problem.
