I have a set of 8, new, in the box, with pins and retainers, Keith Black 191 pistons that are .040 for a 360. I am looking to get $150 plus shipping, or I will trade a set of .020,.030, or .040 kb 107's for them. They are located in East Palestine, OH 44413. I was going to have the dome cut down to a more streetable custom level and still have the quench, but I decided a set of 107's would be fine for my application. Thanks!
Dustin

I'm currently waiting on a set of KB-107 + .030 from a member. Lightly used and in excellent shape. They were mine and I thought they were a .040 set that the purchaser needed, but I was un-aware that they were .030.

He (Baxter61) is to be sending them back ASAP. I'll contact him now. Interested in a trade? There just the slugs and pins.

if you hand quench the heads at .040 these are some good slugs. I have a set in my 60 over 360 and its between 12.5 and 13 to 1. last pass in my 71 dart was 7.20 in the 1/8

Sure! I can get you some pics if you want, I have the pistons, pins, and locks.

OK, wait 3 - 5 days, the arrival time according to Baxter61 and we'll Pm each other and trade up pictures and e-mail address'.

I do not have locks with these slugs.

Daredevil- Thats kind of what I had planned to do, along with having the dome cut down for less compression, but, I'm only running a Voodoo cam with .513/.533 lift, 3200 stall, etc and I thought that all that work may be overkill with my application. Flattops would be easier for me haha. Plus...I have another baby on the way (YAY) and gotta watch the money. Gas is expensive...etc. I wish I could build that type of engine!

rumblefish-no locks is fine, I'm pretty sure I'll be using them as press fit anyway. If not, spiro-lox aren't real expensive. I sat at work, sandblasting locomotive parts in a giant blaster, thinking of building my engine today. Thanks for giving me something to think about! lol

Just lettin everybody know, the KB-107's + 030 are on there way via Fed-Ex (For less than $14 no less!) There due to arrive on Wensday. Yep, time to juice the kid back up with exceitment!

The pistons are coming harrra haaara! The pistons are coming Harrra! HARRRRAAAA!

Let me know when you send your slugs!

Sweeeet!! I can't wait!! Now, I might actually finish a shortblock!

The 191's WILL be on the way either monday morning or afternoon. Got em' all bubble wrapped and secured.

I never thought I'd be this excited about getting a set of pistons lol, but, this is the closest I have been to getting a shortblock done in the past ten years. Usually just end up prettying up a used stock shortblock and getting stuck running mid 13's. Although, I'll probably take another ten years on the heads. Oh well.

LOL, stock 2.02 heads and a nice cam, converter and gear set up will get ya into the low 12's.
