@TomMoparMan, good friend and member here, had a heart attack at the track yesterday. Today he is in the hospital and responding after being in a coma overnight. Please keep Tom and wife Vicki in your prayers.

Tom goes in for bypass surgery tomorrow. He is setting up in bed with the tv remote in his hand I heard. Not out of the woods yet but getting there. I wish him the best and pray for a successful OHS.
 
Yes prayers for quick recovery. I had a triple bypass locked in a Houston hospital during the Harvey flood back in '17. The surgery was the real easy part!!
 
Tom's surgery went well I understand. The first few days after OHS aren't fun but they are necessary for the healing process. After his chest tubes come out he will start feeling more like himself. Keep those prayers coming.
 
I just talked to Tom. He is in good spirits and doing quite well. He had a cardiac arrest and his heart just stopped. He was given compressions and cpr within a couple minutes so there is no heart damage. They did find some blockages and did bypass surgery which was successful. He had angels on his side out at the strip to save his life.
