So, I got a Taylor 4 post switch, wired it per diagram. Ran the 1 gauge back to under the hood, installed a junction to hook up the starter and 10 gauge wire that was on the + battery post to relay.
Ran a 10 gauge from alternator per Taylor diagram, made a jumper per diagram, on switch.
Used a remote switch on the starter relay to test.
All kinds of smoke and fumes from around the distributer; may have been in it.
I just got on the mower and cut some grass, I am so PO'ed.
Any hint's?
