Does anyone know if the "knockout" part of the ('72-75?) Rally Acorn Centers can be bought anywhere new? I have some centers that look pretty good except the knockout part is bad. Thanks

Thanks 73Swinger18. I've seen these and may end up buying them, but I am trying to see if anyone sells just the brushed finished "knockout part"? Some of mine are dented and pitted. I've looked online and cannot seem to find "new knockouts".

Oh. I thought you might be asking about those, but wasn't aware that they were removable. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Maybe these? The year listed is not what you're looking for, but there are several PNs listed that they fit.
I looked at those, they are 1 9/16 diameter. My knockouts are about 2 3/4? Bad picture, sorry. I'm going to look again on some of those wheel, hubcap sites and see if they have anything cheap at 2 3/4 diameter. Maybe something with a Mopar logo or something with some color, I don't know? If not I'll use what I've got and save up for the one piece Acorns. Thanks again, and nice job on your car! I checked out your pics. I hope to get mine in that shape some day!

Thanks! I finally got her running good and can just enjoy cruising in it now, until the next thing pops up! Maybe you could bring those caps to a machine shop and have them brush them up. I'm sure they will come out nice with some high speed revolutions and some fine paper.

73Swinger18, thanks for the suggest. My Scamp will never be a show car but take a look at this pic and tell me if I am overthinking this? I know pics can be deceiving, but these should be alright?

They look nice! How did you clean them up?
Thanks. I carefully hand sanded, masked and repainted. Sprayed clear coat over the Argent Silver paint and then shined up the chrome parts after a week or so. I think I'm going to quit while I'm ahead. Good enough for who they're for!

Cool. I did the same thing with some side trim I had on my '64 Falcon. Used metallic silver wheel paint with a clear coat and it turned out real nice. Enjoy and drive through some puddles!
