I am selling a LA 360 engine. This is date coded 9/1977. The engine had been rebuilt.This engine ran good until loss of oil pressure. I was gonna go through this engine. The crank just needs to be polished and new bearings installed. Cylinder walls have no ridge and are standard bore. Just need a hone. I bought new 9:5.1 flat top pistons and rings. I also have rebuilt Jheads for it with 1.88 valves and hardened seats.Also comes with a Holley street dominater 4 barrel intake. Asking $550 for all of
It or might trade . I need Abody bucket seats for my 71 Swinger or a good 727,904 or overdrive trans that I can bolt up and go. Also looking for a suregrip third member. This engine is in Austin Tx

Will this 360 bolt up in my 64 dart with out a lot of changing have a 273 in it know factory 4- speed

You would need to get a flywheel for an LA 360, and a bigger bellhousing. You would also have to get a Z bar from Brewers that mates the factory clutch linkage in your car to the later/bigger bellhousing. Those are the "needs", and there would probably be wants as well....like headers and a new aluminum radiator, etc. Looks like a good motor for a build, and a decent price for it and the stuff he has listed to go with it.

Just as JD Mopar said those are the things you need to Make it work in your 64. It definitely would be well worth it. Big difference in performance for sure too. The more cubes the better. Let me know if you’re interested.

reduced to $500 for all of it. Including the heads.
