La head and intake misalignment?

Hey, i just bought the motor i’t a 360 la with a 671 blower
i noticed that a gasket doesn’t align, and the crossover port is 1/4 exposed on the head.
Person who sold it to me said it was a running motor and ran like this.
i can’t wrap my mind around that it’s fine and will work. Will take better photos tomorrow.
Also seems the the angle of bolts it just couple degrees off too.

If you are talking about the "1/2 moon" area in the center crossover port that is perfectly normal. Both LA and B/RB engines are like that.

just a heat riser hole, no coolant or intake charge flowing in it,..you good, but buying sumptin like that id havta see run for i could buy it!!

yeah, it was too spontaneous and the deal wouldn’t last long, had to pull a trigger
