Gentlemen, that party is back on

I was talking to my dad (of all people) and he suggested i take a good look at the capacitor
Sure enough, it's toast

I was able to scavenge one from another pump and she is all back together, leak free up and running

The cold weather has passed, went from 12F when I got up yesterday morning to 42 by mid afternoon, wind was back too, gusts of 40 mph. Today it was 32 at 8 am, now at 50 and almost no wind. Sure not the winter that was predicted, and I have no complaints.

Glad it was a simple fix.
 
Been a beautiful sunny day but freeze the nuts off a bridge. I went for a walk today but did a short one as there was a bitter cold wind. I was bundled up but the wind was stinging my face. That's no fun.
This morning I went to get a bag of milk out of the fridge and found it had been leaking and was only half full. I bought the three bags on Friday so have been leaking and milk slowly running down the back of the fridge to the base. The milk on the bottom was frozen and there was milk in the trays etc. Took us two hours to pull everything out and shelves etc and wash everything down. What a mess. Pulled the fridge out and cleaned behind there as well as it had been a while.
Glad that doesn't happen often.

Never heard of a bag of milk we have plastic here.
 
Don't drink much milk I buy a quart about once a month and end up throwing half of it out.
