Morning fellas. Starting off cold again but sun will be out and around 19 later.
Looks like another grass cutting day. I swear I'll never ever Spring fertilize again. We could never go away for a few days without coming back to a forest LOL. Sure looks thick and healthy though.
You still going to the drags today Fred?

Finally got the right bushing / keeper for wiper crank what a &$!:;#%#?€ thing and place to install it with out having to remove the dash. But gotter done. Next winter I will redo the whole dash assembly

Morning Ahoey, Yea a royal pain and if your a big guy it makes it even harder.

Was in the barn drinking last night so I got to sleep in. I picked up a running 307 last night for 125 to put in a derby car. At that price if she blows up no biggie.

How's that for getting off the line at the right time. 8th mile track I think he's running 3:55 gears about.
Took me on a test and tune run with him and yea I'm excited.

Ok got a question. On the driver side of 340 s engine there’s about 18in of what appears to be rubber fuel line ? Going through what appears to be a square metal thing what’s it for ?

Not sure I paid more attention to his cold can for the fuel on the right but would think now that you mentioned it that maybe a vacuum pump? I'm no engine tech just a wild guess.

I figured, tech guy let it run so not fuel !

The black hose goes from pcv to air/oil separator to catch any blowby oil. Keeps oil from plugs and diluting the fuel. Oil has zero octane rating. I dump about 2 oz of oil after weekend of racing. The fuel line runs from mech pump to blue cool can then to carb. When it is hot I have had vapor lock without the cool can.

Glad you had fun on the ride along Fred. It was good to visit with you today. Have good trip to Mopars in the Park and have fun.

Morning people. Finally had a fairly nice day and by the looks of it this foolish cold weather might be over with.
Got a fair amount of STUFF done yesterday the main thing was cutting that dam grass again. Spent a long time trimming around flower gardens, driveway etc and then the big clean up. Didn't even get on the computer yesterday afternoon but sat on the deck and admired my work lol.
Going out for a rip sometime today for sure, I think I deserved it after yesterday.
BTW it's Fog's birthday today. The "Old Fart" is 70 today.
If you want to send him a message just put it on here and I'll forward it to him.
Have a great day
