It was a bit of an expensive day. Went out to buy a few groceries and spent 1100 bucks. Saw a really nice gazebo on display across the road from the grocery store. Just what we've been looking for and has 4 sliding roof panels made of Lexan and attaches to the house. 10x12. 1300 on sale for 974 plus Government gratuities. I pick it up tomorrow so I guess I know what I'm doing for the weekend. I'll buy some of the Buck a beer our new Premier has promised if anyone's interested LOL

Where the hell is Bothwell? My good friend was in Windsor for a few days seeing his daughters. He's home now and we're going to the Funeral Home car show. Have fun tomorrow and drive safe.

Home early from work been to hot and to much smoke in the air from all the damn fires on the west and east coasts.
Nice car FOG had a 68 340 4 speed and was my favorite car.
The beer sounds good Mark if I was closer I'd come help.

Hey CF they started harvesting wheat here, how are your crops looking?
I was about a month ahead of everyone here planting and mine look great compared to others. We are about a month and 1/2 yet till harvest. It does still depend on Mother Nature till they are in the wagon.

Well I’m on holidays , he’s soposed to gone when I get back !cheers happy weekend !
Have a great holiday Biff. I'm sure after working with jerks like that you need a good one. Good to know you don't have to do the dirty job of firing this guy. Sounds like the whole shop will be better off for it though. I bet you don't sleep in while you're off. Be safe.

Sounds great CF. That makes it easy to sleep at night when the crops look great.

Mark you have a car show Today?
Morning Fred... There is a car show tonight but I think I'll be putting the new gazebo together today. It was a great show at the funeral home last night. The weather was lovely, a great bbq and a good turnout. The drive home was spectacular..all windows down, lower air vents open and the pipes roaring. Hated to pull into the driveway. Have a great day Buddy

Yes I agree Mark nothing better than hearing the sound of old school thunder.
Have fun putting the gazebo up. Remember the first thing to do when you start to assemble it is throw the directions away and tell the wife real men don't need them.

Hey guys how is your day going. I went to an auction sale today, didn't find anything I needed to bring home. Changed the oil in the old p/u and got the windows working again.
One of my boys and his family came over for an early supper and just left, been a normal day here and my *** is dragging.
Gonna go clean the old Scamp just to relax and turn up the oldies on the stereo.

Morning guys. Hey Mark how's the gazebo coming along?
Morning Fred...it's all up and functioning. I should have thrown the instructions a way Fred. It said 4 people 90-120 minutes to assemble. How's 9:30 till 6 sound. Two of us (my neighbour and I) but did stop an hour for lunch. To add insult to injury...a Robin landed in the tree above us and yes the little bastard crapped on me not only once but three times. That's when an AK47 comes in handy but not legal here LOL. I was completely knackered when we were done and was an effort to shower and eat supper. Slept like a baby overnight though. Up at 6 this morning and ready to take on the world again NOT!!!!
On a good note ...we're really happy with it. Got our son coming today with the family and we'll have the boys till Tuesday when the X comes and gets them.

Quit laughing about the bird incident. The little Bastard.

Looks good Mark and like your big deck and the shrubs around it. Looks comfy.
My wife's Uncle helped me build it a number of years ago. He was 83 at the time and was in construction for years and could work circles around me. He did some really nice things when building it showing off his skills. We lost him in a accident about 3 years ago. The car he was riding in got "T"-boned and he only lived long enough to be extricated from the car and died on the way to hospital. He had just turned 93 I think it was.

Sorry Mark. And I bet he was great guy to be around. Damn shame to loose him like that.
