That would be fun Biff. I tried to do that here at the local air port Had everything set up Got the lights and timer all the vendors around town were excited, even had the insurance set up for a two day event. We even got the kids set up for a lawn mower race and rally but the local air port board shut it down. Gonna try again soon.

Yep same here Biff we have about a 1/2 mile runway that is not used much and I pay taxes to keep it going and don't even use it.

Got the new truck in the garage tonight gonna be a good project for the grand kids. Thank god it's a flat bed so it can hold all the grand kids.

Hi Biff....there are always politics involved and little greasing of the palm seems to help as well. Money talks you know and in some cases this what the hold-up is all about.

Didn't go Fred. The weatherman said it would be overcast but no rain at all. Yes it was overcast and I looked at the sky and thought nope not going. My gut instinct was right. It sprinkled while we were out for a walk with the boys. I didn't mention anything to them about the car show and plans to take them there so they wouldn't be disappointed. They go to their mother's today right after supper. Been lovely having them here but will be nice to be back to normal again. I was talking to the youngest one (9) and his older brother (11) snuck up behind me and yanked my shorts down to my ankles. He got a severe tickling for that. LOL

That's funny Mark but you know his brother is gonna do it next time. My gran kids haven't thought of that yet but I think my turn is coming.

Thanks guys. It was my father in laws He gave it to my boy about 2 years ago and he hasn't got the time to fix it up so I told him I would give him 4,000 for it and restore it as long as all my grand kids can help with the work and would give it back to him when I get to old to do anything but **** myself.
Engine and running gear is rebuilt so looks like body and paint is next. I have everything but the glass, I think.
