I remember a few years back my neighbour had a tree out back , it had a huge paper nest hanging in a branch about seven feet off the ground , he decided he was he was going to cut the branch and get rid of it , well he didn't get a ladder and cut from the top, he used a chain saw and cut from the bottom , well low and behold the branch pinched the chain saw and it was stuck so he tried to get it out , all of a sudden here come this swarm of wasps . Let me tell you I have never seen any one run that fast before. He had welts all over ! Funny things you always remember..lol.
Many years ago we had a hornets nest in our shed. There was a galvanized garbage can that they seemed to like and built the nest in there. I carefully carried it out then went and got some gas and some matches POOF no more hornets.

Getting close to winter is the worst time for hornets. I can handle honey bees we have lots around here because we have a bee farm a few blocks from here and they only sting if they have no other choice, but hornets bite just because they can.

Been working on the old A truck sorting parts and reading manuals. It's so simple that it's scary, should have got me one years ago they my be slow but easy to fix and gonna be fun to drive.

Burn them all even if you ruin your garbage can.

started to work on the truck to see how everything fits before I restore it. Looks like she sags and needs a face lift and a tighter bra.

Morning Fred....hope you had a great weekend. Beautiful night at the car show last night but as the night closed in it felt damp. Woke up to 14 degrees this morning at 4:30. Nice and cool but warming up and sunny later.

It's 9*c here this morning but will be plenty warm by noon.

The garbage can was galvanized metal...didn't hurt it at all. Actually after the B Burning I cut it down and made a firepit used at our street bbq/corn roast we had every year
And I bet your real good at it Mark. It takes lots of practice to make things fit right.
If I remember you worked for GM.
No I worked at a GM dealership after I left the glass shop. I fixed all the F Ups done at the factory LOL

I'm back...I'm done and I win!!! Quick what is the prize for being last?

The left handed Metric adjustable wrench is still up for grabs. But wait...there's more. You'll be sure to want the chrome muffler bearing as well. You'll be the envy of the neighbourhood.
You mean I been hanging around here to be last and that's all I get?I was hoping for a movie star blow up gal with blond hair and big boobs.
Was gonna put her on my garage wall.
With greasy finger prints all over her.
