I remember helping grandpa catch and smoke em. I still love me some smoked Salmon.
Same here CF my Grand father had a 30' fishing boat at Westport Washington and every morning at 5 we went fishing in the summer. Ate a lot of fish and crab back then.
Sure miss Him he was a great man.

Got a technical question. hy did Mopar offset their motors back in the 70's?
Hey Mark what I have heard it was done for a lot of reasons. More clearance for the steering box, starter and exhaust , helps to counteract torque steer. Even TTI's website has measurement for offset , from the center of the crankshaft to the top of the k-frame the correct distance is 5-1/4 .

Thanks FOG I didn't know that.

Hey Fred not working today?
Looks like I will not be working all week FOG, it's real slow around here when the farmers are in the field.
Been working on the old truck and getting the motor home ready to go to Hershey PA. for a big swap meet there with my father in law in Oct.
I guess I am semi retired and I like it but the cash flow is kinda slow right now.

Wow Fred , I guess everyone has a slow period, sure hits the wallet tho. Sounds like a good time to be had with the Father in law nothing like bonding at a swap meet.

I will be driving semi for my son in law on Thursday of this week and if I want I can drive it more next week so I can make money if I want.
I am having a hard time getting ready for retirement FOG I hope I can handle it.
How was it for you if you don't mind me asking.

I'm loving it Fred , keep yourself busy and enjoy , sometimes I'm so busy where did I have time to work. If you have to much time on your hands just do some volunteer work . But the kids always want ! Whats the problem they say you have time ! Been retired 12 years now .

Wow....thanks for the ride in the A. Seems to run decent. I noticed a rattle in the back somewhere...kindly fix it would ya. LOL One hint for you Fred...when you're making a movie with your phone turn it horizontally with the home button to the right. This will make the movie vertical and not having to watch it on it's side when on the computer.
As far as retirement Fred...don't worry you'll find yourself busy or as busy as you want to be. I never looked back when I did it. Sure I missed the guys at work and would drop in to see them and make fun of them and also thank them for contributing to my monthly pension. Soon you'll be living the dream like the rest of us old farts.

Sure got a lot done around here in the last few weeks and I think my kids will keep me busy.
I just sent you a video I hope you got it.

The noise you heard Mark might have been the horn I was honking it lots and when I shut it off the last thing you herd was the horn.
