Good morning everyone.

Got my eye on a '22 Dodge Charger. It's a V6, 8 speed automatic, Blacktop version(never heard of that), 68K miles. F8 Green. One owner private vehicle. Probably traded in on an Accord.

What do people think about these cars these days? Is there anything inherently wrong with all of them, or something that pops up every now and again? My plan for this car is to drive it every day, work, long trips, whatever.

Thanks everyone.

I have a 2021 Daytona, love the car. It’s a V8. When I was having it serviced, I got a loaner 2023 V6 charger, it drove good and sounds good. It had the upgraded stereo, I don’t know if the one you’re looking at does.

The 8 speed really helps that V6. I drove a 2018 for a few weeks, it was bare bones, no options car accept the Black Top package. It was comfy and had some pep. Not V8 pep but not a total dog.

My only complaint about any newer Mopar's is throttle lag. Get that corrected with a tune (if available) and their quite fun.

Thanks guys. Went and picked it up last night. In the 12 miles I put on it so far it seems nice. Here's hoping for many years of happy motoring.

They're all horrible choices next to the better cars on the market
