Awhile back I had purchased a '73 Duster which had this type of steering wheel in it.

I know this steering wheel wouldn't be original to the car but I'd like to keep it. but it's missing the whole horn set up... Including this type of horn pad

does anyone know where I can get these at as well as the mechanism behind it that allows the horn to go off? thanks for any information !!

Thats a Rallye wheel, I have one on my 68 cuda.

Horn pads come up frequently on ebay. Many of your salvage yards over there would surely have them laying around as well. Same goes for the horn mechanism and horn pad retainer (if you dont have that either).

You can also get a brand spanking new repro horn pad from PGclassic for $105 - http://moparplus.com/product_info.php?cPath=57&products_id=958 They also have the horn pad retainer, but you'd probably be better off getting the retainer and horn mechanism as one piece from a salvage yard.
