Late model 17/18" wheels with ford 8.8 on 72 duster

I have searched but cant see anything pertaining to running a mustang wheel with 5-7inch backspacing with ford 8.8..... Would I be better off goin with a b body rear? I would like to tuck the largest tire possible.... really would like to stay away from the large spacers.... I will be doin a rotor swap on the fronts to larger bolt pattern... Thanks in advance

I have an A body 8 3/4 with big bolt pattern axles on my 66 valiant running 17" charger/magnum steelies. no mini tub, no spacers.
running 235/45/17 tires.
