LD340 intake

i have ld340 intake and 1406 ed 600cfm. just picked up for my 69 dart 340 mid build. what my question is, will this carb. work on this intake if so what type of gasket or spacer do i need? any info would be really helpful thanks.

I have used this combination before and it worked fine on a mild engine. The manifold is a good upgrade to the stock intake. If you have the hood clearance I would use a 3/8" to 1/2 plastic spacer to insulate the carb from the manifold. I would also block the heat crossover if you drive in warm weather only.

Do it right and get one of these:

Use some small pieces of 20 gauge sheet metal and block off those heat cross overs.

you know i have 1406 with a eddy performer rpm in Vegas,,,never had a hot restart problem...

get rid of any rubber hose you have...it soaks in the heat

Fuel is formulated differently in different parts of the country. Hear in Maryland percolation is very problematic. I say block off heat and get the eddie heat insulator gasket and do it right the first time instead of mickey mousing around with it....
