Been noticing what sounds like an exhaust leak on left side. ( my ears are bad) . Was under car the other day and saw darkened area ( appearant leak) near three ports. PO said car only had about 200 miles since rebuild , though it was 2012. Leaks are all on bottom edge. Any ideas why this would happen so soon? If I replace the gasket what should I look for or do to keep this from happening any time soon?

You might want to make sure the bolts are tight. If you do have to replace the gasket run a file across the surface of the manifold to make sure its straight. Worse case might have to have a clean up cut done on the manifold. Good luck!
