Leaking power steering pump

Just got my Dart Sport running. It keeps pushing power steering fluid out of the cap. I did have the whole steering system apart. I bleed all the air out of the system by turning the wheel lock to lock. No noise, even when the level is low, it still pushes fluid out! It has the old Federal pump on it. I have done this type of work before, with no problems. Any ideas?

is it too full? does it stop at a certain point?

it doesn't matter if it low or at the correct level. it just keeps leaking.

I would have to say it's something in the steering box or a restriction in one of the lines. Take the lines off and see if you can run fluid through or use
compressed air. If ok, would have to be in the box. Good luck. Green Duster

sorry, didn't fully read about the level. I agree, check the high pressure line going to the box as well as the box. sounds like the box isn't taking on fluid.
