[SOLD] Lean burn delete kit for 440??

Hey all, Im trying to help a buddy out. He bought a 78 Dodge motor home with a 440 in it. The 440 has "lean burn", BUT he is thinking that there was a kit many moons ago to delete the lean-burn. Can anyone shed some light on this?? Also if anyone has this kit, he might be interested

That was just the standard Direct Connection Electronic Ign kit. Even easier, just drop a single point with vacuum advance and be done with it.

Google around, steve, there are destructions. I think there are minor wiring changes you need to apply

I think all you 'really' need electriclally is a conventional Mopar distributor and either a Mopar ECU or an HEI module.

Correct, that and a different carb and he can throw all that lean burn garbage in the trash and have a real nice runner.

The black wire goes to the coil negative, and the blue wire goes to the ballast input.

He is keeping the motorhome as it is. Got it for a steal, already certified. He just wants to scrap the lean burn and put an aluminum intake on it.

Thanks Kim. I found quite a.few harness on the net for like $25. I.emailed my buddy this link and some other ones. I will.wait to see.what he says.
Oh he is looking for an alum intake if yer interested in selling one??
